Location: Elkhart, IN

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire  

Pay: $20.00 /hour
Position: Full-Time

Screw machining company looking for Screw Machine Die Set Up Operator. Since 1908, a family-owned company has produced a wide variety of machined parts including screws.

Schedule

  • First Shift
  • Monday through Friday 
  • 06:00am to 02:30pm

Job Details

  • 2 half hour paid breaks!
  • Make mechanical program adjustments.
  • Communicate recommendations to modify processes.
  • Check machinery daily to guarantee functionality.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Must be comfortable reading blueprints and job orders.
  • Must have a strong understanding of quality control and testing techniques.

Experience

  • Must have Acme-Gridley, New Britain, or Brown and Sharpe Die Set Up experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable lifting up to 75 pounds.

Tools & Equipment

  • Must wear PPE in designated areas.

Pre-employment

  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
