Heavy Duty Diesel Technician

Location: Cheyenne, WY 82001

Pay: $20.00 - $42.00 Hourly

Position: Direct Hire

Schedule

  • First Shift 
  • Monday through Friday 
  • 08:00 am to 05:00 pm

Job Details

  • Full understanding of diagnostic processes
  • Comprehensive understanding of air brake systems, suspension, HVAC, electrical systems, and cab and chassis systems

Knowledge & Skills

  • A, B, and C Levels
  • Ability to diagnose and repair most malfunctions
  • Understanding and capability to repair most electrical issues
  • Understanding and capability to repair most HVAC issues
  • Understanding and capability to repair most air brake system issues
  • Understanding and capability to repair most cab and chassis issues
  • Ability to assist lower-level technicians with repairs and diagnosis

Certificates & Licenses

  • CDL and ability to test drive vehicles is a plus but not required

Pre-employment
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
