What Elwood Staffing is Hiring for:

1st Shift Fork Truck Drivers

Location: Winamac, IN

Pay: $17.50 to $20 per hour DOE

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire 

Position: Full-Time

Schedule

  • First Shift 
  • Monday through Friday 
  • 06:30am to 03:00pm

Job Details

  • All shipping and receiving functions in the shipping yard and shipping department
  • Loading and Unloading
  • Prepping, staging and loading hoist
  • Delivering material to other departments upon request
  • Cleaning and organizing shipping yard

Experience

  • Prior Forklift experience – preferably with high-capacity lifts
  • Prior Shipping/Receiving experience

    Knowledge & Skills

    • Math skills a plus
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently
    • Safe
    • Responsible

    Work Conditions

    • Able to lift 70 pounds
    • Required to stand, walk, work long periods on your feet
    • Required to climb on/off truck throughout the day*

    • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
