1st Shift Position: $32.50/hr DOE. Heavy Equipment Mechanic. Greeley, CO. $25.00 - $30.00hr + Referral Bonus.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic 

Location: Greeley, CO

Hours: 1st shift  

Responsibilities:  

• Maintain and repair machinery such as bulldozers, cranes, graders, excavators, and other equipment.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle and equipment malfunctions on all major systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and safety checks.
• Prioritize jobs and ensure the maintenance shop is maintained in a clean, safe, and organized manner.
• Perform record-keeping and documentation.
• Assist with machine repairs in the yard, including conveyor belts/systems, lifts, blowers.
• Work indoors and outdoors depending on the location of repairs needed.
• Handle other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills

• Must be able to read, understand, follow, and give oral and written instructions in English.

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and components.

Work Conditions

• May be required to work in extreme temperatures and weather conditions for long periods – hot and cold.
• Exposure to loud noises and fumes, odors, gases, dust, etc.

Certificates & Licenses

• Valid driver's license.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
