PESA, the US national trade association for the oilfield service, supply and manufacturing sector, is offering an introduction to the industry with the highly-acclaimed Oil & Gas 101 seminar Oct. 11-12 at Baker Hughes, a GE company.

As the service and supply sector has become more technologically advanced and specialized, a thorough and broad understanding of the business can be hard to achieve. PESA’s Oil & Gas 101 gives an overview of the exploration, drilling and production phases of oil and natural gas wells, as well as presentations on related subjects, including economics, technology investments and government policy. The seminar offers participants a chance to network across the supply chain as well as learn.

Speakers will include Jim Wicklund from Credit Suisse, Dr. Phaneendra Kondapi from the University of Houston, Jim Geary from Cobalt International Energy, Karl Appleton from National Oilwell Varco, Shane Corliss from TechnipFMC, Imran Kizilbash from Schlumberger, Billy O’Neil from Simmons & Company International, Energy Specialists of Piper Jaffray, Cristy Moreno-Earle from ExxonMobil Refining and Supply Company, Brad Wise from Distribution Now and Bob Moran from Halliburton.

Registration is available for both members and non-members. Visit PESA.org to register.
