At a Glance:

The Yard Hand is primarily responsible for assisting with and providing general maintenance and upkeep with rig components in all yard locations at the FlexRig Machinery Center. This position is physically located in Tulsa, OK.  

What you will do:

• Assist with moving items throughout the facility’s outdoor storage locations, cleaning equipment, and fulfilling general maintenance tasks as required, all while following H&P safety policies.
• Assist in keeping the yard hazard free and informing management of any concerns that could potentially be deemed unsafe.
• Provide support such as loading and unloading trucks, pick-up, and delivery of parts throughout the facility and any other tasks requested by the Yard Foreman.
• Operate a forklift and manlift as needed.

What you need:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to operate poll truck, forklift, aerial work platform and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to plan and organize multiple processes.
• Must be organized and able to maintain documents pertaining to equipment.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record to drive company provided vehicles.

Not a must, but a plus:

• Forklift certification
• Experience operating forklift and manlift preferred.
• Previous oil and gas industry experience preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
