Washrack Technician

Location: Mississauga, ON

Schedule/Shift:

• Monday- Friday, Afternoon Shift, 2 pm - 10 pm
• Monday-Friday, Night Shift, 10 pm - 6 am

• The Tank Wash Technician is responsible for basic cleaning processes for all systems
• Internal flush/drying of tank trailers & inspection
• Exterior washing and assist with internal cleaning
• Cleaning of hoses and pumps, chemical and temp cleaning procedures
• Operation of basic hand tools
• Steam cleaning, product heating, boiler operation, and maintenance of pumps, blowers, etc
• Assist and identify wash order scheduling
• Identify wash orders to be completed and know your limitations
• Ensuring that proper wash tickets are completed properly and timely
• Comfortable working either indoors or outdoors (Appropriate gear will be provided)

• Perform various general labor duties as required by the manager

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work at heights over 20 ft

• Must meet the physical requirements of the position and have mobility, vision, hearing, sense of smell, and dexterity levels appropriate to the duties performed.
• May stand and walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift, and carry items weighing 50 lbs or less.

• May work above shoulder level with power and /or hand tools weighing 15 pounds or less and in confined spaces

• Tank entry and confined space training required (will be provided)
