Truload Transportation Services is currently seeking dedicated and experienced Long Haul Drivers to join their team.

The monthly salary for this job varies between $5,000 and $7,000, depending on experience.

Duties

• Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across long distances, ensuring safe and timely deliveries
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, traffic conditions, and any issues that may arise during transit
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding transportation and safety standards
• Load and unload cargo as necessary, utilizing forklift equipment when required
• Perform basic maintenance and automotive repairs on vehicles as needed to ensure optimal performance

Skills

• Proven experience of 1 year in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
• Familiarity with freight handling procedures and heavy equipment operation
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and compliance
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines consistently
• Basic knowledge of automotive repair to address minor vehicle issues on the road
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and customers
