What You’ll Like About This Job

Lafarge Canada is hiring skilled welders to support mechanical maintenance at their Squamish-based ready-mix plant. This role focuses on welding, fabrication, and repairs to critical equipment in a dynamic, outdoor-ready environment. Ideal candidates will be certified welders with hands-on experience in mining or heavy manufacturing. The position offers full-time hours and the opportunity to grow into senior maintenance or operations leadership roles.

What you’ll need:

Journeyperson status
Level C welding ticket
At least 2 years’ experience in heavy manufacturing, mining, or marine
Proficiency in welding, fabrication, and rigging
Valid driver’s license
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and overtime
Strong safety orientation and troubleshooting skills

What will make you stand out:

Loader operation experience
Dependable and able to work in extreme conditions
Self-starter with strong communication and teamwork skills
