What Cameco Corporation is Hiring for:

  • Operation of heavy equipment in underground development and production areas, including manual and remote mucking
  • Assist in the installation and removal of reamers, moving Raise bore drills and construction equipment required for backfilling of raises and stopes
  • Daily operator care rounds

Requirements of the position:

  • Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Three to five years of heavy equipment operation and knowledge
  • Successful completion of underground training modules
  • Good reading, writing and communication skills are essential
  • Ability to work in an underground environment
  • Excellent safety and attendance record
  • Rotating day shift/night shift schedule

Assets:

  • Underground equipment operating experience

Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan’s North.
