What Cameco Corporation is Hiring for:

Reporting to the sr. specialist, asset health monitoring, you will be responsible for supporting asset performance management by carrying-out a number health/condition monitoring activities including data collection and analysis using various purpose-built tools (including drones), investigating, and dispositioning predictive maintenance system alerts, managing field devices, and providing field support for failure investigation and continuous improvement projects.

Although this is a corporate office position, you will be primarily be stationed at site in order to be able to perform required activities.

Requirements of the position:

  • Diploma in mechanical engineering technology
  • Two to seven years of relevant work experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered (e.g., trade certificate)
  • Knowledge of and experience in reliability engineering processes, work management processes, and SAP's Plant Maintenance module
  • A.Sc.T, C.E.T, or international equivalent certification

Assets:

  • Experience in RCA, FMEA, RCM, PM/PdM best practices
  • Cat 1 or higher vibration certification
  • MLT 1 or higher lubrication certification
  • Certifications or experience in other PdM technologies including infrared scanning, ultrasonic emissions, and thickness testing
  • Drone piloting experience
  • Strong data analytics skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build strong relationships
  • Ability to manage time and balance multiple projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
