What TechnipFMC is Hiring for:

HSE Manager.

Location: Davis, CA

Earnings: $88,600 to $164,600 per annum

Position: Full Time

Vacancies: 1

Responsibilities:  

  • Manages health and safety programs for the three sites in Davis and Shingle Springs
  • Participates in global HSE network and proactively engages counterparts in other businesses and regions to share learnings and best practices
  • Responsible for the oversight and governance of regional HSE policies in alignment with corporate and global standards/policies to ensure compliance
  • Develops, implements maintains, and improves the HSE management system in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policy.
  • Oversee HSE effectiveness, strategies, and improvement programs for the local business.
  • Develops, monitors, and maintains safety and issue prevention policies, processes, procedures, and certifications.
  • Works directly with businesses to understand and respond to customer HSE requirements.
  • Facilitates and manages training for the local safety committee and emergency response team.
  • Responsible for control of safety or environmental-related documents, audits, and records.
  • Update the written HSE programs as applicable to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements
  • Investigates HSE incidents, assess risk, and oversee corrective actions.
  • Manages company policy for personal protective equipment, tools, and site equipment.
  • Manages and monitors any waste reduction and recycling programs.
  • Acts as liaison to all applicable HSE-related government agencies.
  • Oversees storm water, wastewater, spill response, and other environmental programs.
  • Supports development and management of the HSE budget.
  • Responsible for the development of Health, Safety, and Environmental plans and procedures for implementation during front-end engineering, engineering design, fabrication
  • Maintain statistics and metrics, determine performance trends, and prepare regular reports to senior management and TechnipFMC Corporate HSE designee

Education

  • Minimum of a BS in health and safety, related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • 10+ years of HSES experience working in California.
  • Experience managing and implementing HSE in a design and manufacturing environment.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Solid knowledge of workers' compensation and federal and California OSHA laws and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of environmental health and safety standards (such as ISO14001) and best industry practices.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of the HSE discipline and experience interfacing with regulatory agencies.
  • Knowledge of workers' compensation and federal and state OSHA laws and regulations.
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the country, without sponsorship.

  • Effective leadership qualities and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment preferred
