What Cameco Corporation is Hiring for:

You will be responsible for supervising various trades people in multiple disciplines, ensuring safe work practices are followed, setting priorities, and assigning work on a regular basis for both surface and underground.

You will also plan and supervise projects, conduct work inspections, identify, and manage employee development and performance and complete all required documentation in a timely manner.

Requirements of the position:

  • Minimum grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson ticket in either trade, preference for electrical ticket.
  • Minimum of five to eight years of directly related experience
  • PLC/DCS experience
  • Strong team player with strong communication skills
  • Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft

Assets:

  • Background in the mining industry
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Underground supervisor certificate

Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan’s North.
