What you’ll need:

For Heavy Equipment Technicians:

  • Alberta Journeyperson or Interprovincial Red Seal (Off-Road)
  • Experience with CAT or Hitachi mining equipment
  • Valid driver's license

For Tailings Operators:

  • 3+ years heavy equipment operation (D8 dozers, backhoes, graders)
  • Experience in tailings or oil sands mining preferred
  • Valid driver's license

For Process Operators (Coker):

  • 4th Class Power Engineering certification
  • Experience in heavy oil, sour gas, or refinery operations
  • Strong troubleshooting and safety mindset

For Team Leads:

  • 5+ years in upgrading/refining
  • 3+ years supervisory experience
  • 4th Class Power Engineering certification
  • Valid driver's license

What will make you stand out:

  • Strong leadership and mentorship capability (Team Lead)
  • Proven safety track record and familiarity with OEMS/CoSO
  • Field experience in oil sands and upgrading operations
  • Experience with CAT haul trucks, coker units, or tailings systems
  • Willingness to relocate within 60 km of Fort McMurray (Team Lead)
