Suncor is hiring Production Technicians for Fly-in/Fly-out (FIFO) positions at its Firebag oil sands operation in Alberta. This role is ideal for experienced operators with power engineering certification looking for a 7/7 rotational schedule at one of the world’s largest in situ production facilities.

What You’ll Need

Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy oil, water treatment, or steam generation
2nd or 3rd Class Power Engineering Certificate (ABSA Certified)
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record
Ability to work in confined spaces, elevated work areas, and various weather conditions
Strong troubleshooting and process optimization skills

What Will Make You Stand Out

Experience in SAGD (Steam-Assisted Gravity Drainage) operations
Ability to perform plant operation duties and respond to process upsets
Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
Previous FIFO experience in oil sands operations
