What Cameco Corporation is Hiring for:

Working with the compliance and licensing group at the corporate office in Saskatoon, you will be responsible for conducting research on various environmental topics such as aquatic toxicity and environmental regulations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for collecting high-quality data, interpreting laboratory analytical results, maintaining work instructions, preparing technical memos, and other accountabilities as assigned.

The successful candidate will work a term of approximately eight months (September to April). This position is located in Saskatoon with the possibility of occasional trips to the northern Saskatchewan sites.

Education and Qualifications

You will be entering your third or fourth year as a university student specializing in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, natural sciences, or a related field.

Proficiency with basic computer skills is required and field experience is an asset. The successful candidate must hold a valid driver’s license and completion of an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) safety course is an asset. The ability to meet tight deadlines and working independently with minimal supervision as well as within a team environment are essential. Excellent communication, organization skills and the acumen to handle and manage projects with competing deadlines are required.
