Schedule: 4 x 10 hour days (Long-term maintenance)
Compensation: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Plant Coordinator, the Stuart Olson HVAC lead will be responsible for:
- Assists in scoping & planning of field work packages.
- Ensure job plans are accurate for scheduled work.
- Prepare and deliver daily work instruction to the Stuart Olson technicians at the start of shift in collaboration with your Plant Coordinator.
- Communicates work progress and schedule variances to appropriate stakeholders.
- Provide safe work execution of scheduled/non-scheduled work for your craft.
- Knowledge of client SAP processes.
- Point of contact for the upcoming and existing jobs performed by field technicians.
- Monitors quality of work, and coaching workers where needed.
Experience Required
- Preventative maintenance and building checks on RTU, AHU, MUA, Unit heaters, exhaust fans, and boilers.
- Responding to and perform emergency and preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and components.
- Furnace and air conditioner changeouts.
- Ensuring building standards are maintained.
- Advanced controls; electric, pneumatic, DDS.
- Compressor and heat pump changeouts.
- Advanced Boiler Operations.
Qualifications
- Canadian Certified Journeyman (Refrigeration or Equivalent).
- Alberta Gasfitter “A” or “B” Ticket is a strong asset.
- SAP experience is a strong asset.
- Supervisory experience.
- Ability to understand process of the facility and work with operations on an as needed basis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good mathematical, scientific, mechanical, and logical reasoning abilities.
- Committed dedication to safety; reflected in practice and experience.
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Well organized with good time management skills.
- Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol test.
