What Cameco Corporation is Hiring for:

Reporting to the warehouse supervisor, you will be responsible for performing routine daily warehouse functions such as: 

  • Issuing materials from various warehouse facilities
  • Shipping and receiving
  • Inventory cycle counts and data entry
  • Loading and off-loading of all general freight
  • Using a handheld device and reporting in Excel
  • Other general warehouse duties as assigned

 

Requirements of the position:

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • A minimum of five years of related work experience in an industrial warehouse environment, experience in processes such as job kitting, cycle counting and MRP review
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
  • Advanced computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel and an ERP system (SAP preferred)
  • Forklift and loader operator certification
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using a handheld device to perform daily warehouse activities
  • Must work a rotational work schedule and commute to site by aircraft

 

Assets:

  • Experience working with SAP
  • Previous training in first aid, WHMIS, and transportation of dangerous goods
