YoungEnergy is hiring Tank Supervisor.

As we continue to grow and expand, we are looking for motivated, dedicated, and skilled individuals with industry experience. Our main office is based out of Calgary, however this position does require travel throughout Western Canada in order to meet the needs of our clients.

The Site Tank Supervisor has overall responsibility for all onsite operations. The Tank Supervisor is required to be a leader by action, direction, handle multiple time, and social demands. We are looking for someone who knows how to motivate, mentor, and inspire personnel of the crew.

 

What you do:

  • Manage the working personnel, sub-contractors, and all other resources that are necessary in order to complete all projects. (Anywhere from 8-150 personnel on site).
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed and reported immediately, including but not limited to: Change work orders, incident reports, all orientations are completed, and ensure sub-contractor pre-qualification.
  • Prepare and implement required project plan with support from operations, and project manager.
  • Supporting and communicating with all departments of YoungEnergy including: Operations, Health and Safety, Accounting, and Human Resources.
  • Allocate resources in the most cost-effective, and efficient manner to ensure budget expectations are met.
  • In collaboration with safety attendant: Prepare, implement all require rescue plans including confined space, and work at heights.
  • Take lead role in completion of worksite inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Review personnel qualifications, and assign mentor/trainers as required.
  • Assign and ensure completion of required employee performance evaluations, including competency tracking.
  • Review all completed documentation: Operations, Inspections, and safety paperwork to ensure and confirm completeness and accuracy daily.

Extensive of knowledge of:

  • 10+ years of Oil and Gas field experience.
  • 10 years facility turnaround experience.
  • Self-motivator who is willing to work self-sufficiently , with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Project).
  • Strong communication, administrative, and analytical skills.
  • Journeyman Trade Certification is considered an asset.
  • Strong leadership experience, ability to take initiative, make key decisions, and use sounds of judgement.
  • Strong attention to detail, proven capability to meet goals, prioritize, and multi-task.
