Construction & Expertise PG is hiring welders, ironworkers, and millwrights for upcoming shutdown and turnaround projects in Wabush, NL. Both short and long-duration jobs are available during the peak shutdown season. These FIFO roles include paid travel, flights, and accommodations, ideal for skilled tradespeople looking for short-term industrial projects in a remote location.

What you'll need:

  • 3–5+ years of industrial experience
  • Certification in Welding or Fabrication, or Millwright trade
  • Ability to read technical drawings and use standard welding/fabrication tools
  • Ability to lift and handle large metal components
  • Strong communication and safety-first mindset
  • Availability for short (7-day) or extended shutdowns (10+ days)

What will make you stand out:

  • Millwright and guarding experience (for welders)
  • Experience in jig/fixture creation and field sketching
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Mechanical aptitude or multi-trade certification
