Semerra is currently hiring for Pump Supervisors and Pump Hands for their oilfield projects in Grande Prairie, AB.

Semerra does not offer visa sponsorship, therefore this opportunity is only available to Canadian citizens, permanent residents or residents legally entitled to work in Canada without assistance or company sponsorship.

Job Description

The most important requirement for this job is having oilfield experience. Training is available for the right candidates who meet the basic eligibility criteria detailed below.

These are on-site jobs that require at least 1 year of experience working in the oilfield. Select candidates with 2+ years of oilfield experience will be considered for training.

Be aware that these are not long-haul or local route driving positions. Applicants without oilfield experience will not be considered. 

This opportunity with Semerra is available in Grande Prairie, AB. Out of town candidates will be considered and offered housing upon successful selection.

• A 15/6 schedule (15 days on and 6 off)
• A 22/13 schedule (22 days on and 13 off)

Requirements:

• No less than 1 year of oilfield experience
• Valid Class 5 or Class 3 Driver's License (for Pump Hands)
• Valid Class 1 Driver's License (for Pump Supervisors)
• Ability to pass a Drug Test
• Complete a Medical Physical test
• Ability to provide a Clean Driving Record
• Ability to provide a Drivers' Abstract obtained within the last 30 days

Candidates with the following will be given preference:

• 2+ years of oilfield experience
• Experience in Pressure Pumping Operations
• Proven experience as:
  • Pressure Pumping hands
  • Rig hands
  • Frac Hands
  • Coil Tubing Hands
  • C & A Hands

Other things you need to know:

• We are on call 24hrs a day
• We work rotating day shifts and night shifts based on our customer’s needs
• We must be able to lift 80lbs
• We must be able to work in all weather conditions
• We need a clean driver's abstract
• We need a clean pre-employment Drug and Alcohol screen
