Warehouse Technician for 4/3 Day Shift.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Previous warehouse experience necessary
• Receive incoming orders of material for onsite support e.g., Maintenance, Turnarounds, Projects, Commissioning and Unit outages
• An understanding of the Warehouse delivery system and who to contact if there are discrepancies
• Able to meet conditions outlined on the Physical Demands Analysis
• Maintain relations with customer and co-workers through effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Pre-access Drug & Alcohol test
• Strong knowledge of Pipe, Fittings, Valves, electrical, instrumentation, Millwright, Welding material.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Demonstrate high degree of safety awareness and a commitment to safety (his / hers and others), Follow our company and Client Policies and Procedures.
• Experience in preparation of documentation to ship Domestic and International is considered an asset
• Responsible for receiving materials, document processing, parts issuing and inventory control with little to no errors.
• Must possess a valid Alberta Driver’s License
• Able to provide excellent punctuality and attendance
• This position will require candidates to rotate through all position within the warehouse.
• Must be self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision
• Willing to receive computer training as required – previous experience working with SAP, Excel, Word considered an asset
• Must be receptive to working with short notice for call outs and overtime upon Customer request
• This Position will require candidates to support outages, Commissioning, Turnaround for day or night shifts when required.
• Possess Forklift Certification or willing to receive training in Forklift operation for (Class 2, 5 & 7)
• Joffre Site experience and familiarity with site safety policy and procedure is considered an asset
• Required to do onsite Delivery with forklift, Delivery Van as well as Truck and trailer
• Must be willing to travel from site to off-site warehouse to put away pull material as well as open the warehouse for any Maintenance that may be required.
• Able to work in all kinds of weather.
• Detailed orientated.
