In this role you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. - Pay Rate: $33.60 - $42.00/hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:
- Must be fluent in the written and oral English language.
- Must comply with all safety regulations, to provide a safe working environment for themselves and the workers in the plant.
- Maintain all mechanical equipment in the plant.
- Performs PMs, PDMs, CM and regular work orders on equipment.
- Must have their own tools.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize their workload.
- Can repair and work on; conveyors, industrial equipment, pumps, grinders, welding equipment, lathes, power tools, fans, blowers, hydraulic systems, packaging equipment and pneumatic equipment.
- Exposed to TIG welding.
- Capable of repairs and troubleshooting
- Must be able to work in a team type environment.
- Full knowledge of hand and power tools
- Knowledge of installation of equipment
- Follows GMP rules and GMP for Maintenance rules.
- Carry out oral or printed work requests and apply corrective actions.
- Account for Inventory and labour on a computerized maintenance program.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
- Registered Millwright Mechanic Apprentice
- Has at least one year of, recent, in-class training completed of the apprenticeship program, within the last 3 years.
- Minimum one-year full-time experience, working as a Millwright Mechanic apprentice.
- Previous exposure to the maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment, motors, drives, electronics, instrumentation, pumps and conveyor systems.
- Must be able to work at height with the proper PPE, can lift and move objects with up to 40lb regularly and work in confined spaces with the appropriate training
- Must be able to operate mobile equipment with the appropriate training and must hold a valid class 5 driving license.
