Seeking Experienced Journeyman Electrician or Controls Electrician (Surrey, BC)

Location: Surrey, BC

Hours: Full Time

Shift Prem: $1/hour premium for afternoon shifts. 

Work Conditions 

• MUST be flexible with your schedule 
• Ability to work rotating shifts 
• Morning and Afternoons rotating bi-weekly

Responsibilities

• Required Years of Experience: 5Plan and execute complex corrective and preventive  maintenance utilizing thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories  and principles. 
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic  equipment
• Responsible for programmable controls, numerical controls, power supplies, drives, gauges  and test equipment as well as specialized test systems and methods
• Master the basics of the systems utilized at the facility and identify gaps for formal  improvement plans to be put into action
• Work with all groups and levels within the equipment maintenance team
• Adhere to all safety protocol and procedures, GMP’s and wear the required PPE while in the  warehouse or production facilities

Certificates & Licences

• Journeyman Electrician and or Controls Electrician
• Electrical FSR B Certification an asset 
• Allen Bradley Rockwell Training and Certification an asset

Experience

• 5 plus years of electro-mechanical experience
• Experience working in a fast paced production environment
