West Fraser, a global leader in sustainable wood-based building products, is seeking a Certified Electrician to join the team at Chetwynd Forest Industries. Located in the scenic foothills of the Rocky Mountains, this position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while contributing to the production of high-quality wood products.

The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive hourly wage starting at $49.65, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, life insurance, disability, vacation, holidays, and a pension plan. Additionally, employees benefit from a strong focus on career development and internal growth opportunities.

Applicants should hold a Red Seal Certificate or Journeyman Electrical Certification, with a proven ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical equipment in a sawmill setting. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills are essential. Weekend and shift work may be required, and a valid BC driver’s license is needed. This role also welcomes 3rd-year apprentices to apply.
