Adecco Engineering & Technical is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrician - Industrial to join their clients team in Burlington, ON. This pivotal role involves ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of all mechanical equipment within the plant. The ideal candidate will possess a valid 442A or 309A Electrical license and 2+ years experience in providing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment in a food manufacturing environment. This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation at $43 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package.   • Shifts: Monday to Friday |Afternoons 3:00pm-11:00pm

Responsibilities:  

  • Maintain all mechanical equipment in the plant
  • Perform PMs, PDMs, CM, and regular work orders on equipment
  • Repair and work on conveyors, industrial equipment, pumps, grinders, welding equipment, lathes, power tools, fans, blowers, hydraulic systems, packaging equipment, and pneumatic equipment
  • Proficient TIG welding skills required
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns
  • Install new equipment and machinery
  • Follow safety regulations and company policies, including GMP rules
  • Utilize hand and power tools effectively
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Manage inventory and labour on computerized maintenance programs

Requirements:  

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Valid 442A or 309A Electrical license required
  • Industrial experience and PLC background preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Physically capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted
  • Comfortable working under special conditions (heat, cold)
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Must provide own tools and have experience as an Electrician
