Seeking Bachkhoe Operators in Edmonton, AB, Paying up to $35/hour

An Edmonton client is seeking a Backhoe Operator to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a Backhoe or Trackhoe to dig precise trenches for utility installations, including water, gas, and communication lines.
• Perform excavation work on residential and utility projects to support the installation of mainline water, sewer systems, or basements.
• Collaborate with the site foreman and assist in allocating duties to ensure efficient project completion.
• Ensure site safety and operational efficiency during all excavation and trenching activities.
• Maintain and manage equipment, reporting any malfunctions to supervisors for proper functioning.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience operating a Backhoe or Trackhoe for utility trenching and excavation tasks.
• Experience in digging trenches for water, sewer utilities, or basement foundations.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to job sites in Edmonton and surrounding areas.
• First Aid Certification is an asset but not mandatory.
• No pre-employment testing required.

Hours & Wage:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• $25 - $35/hour
