Challenging technical work with tight tolerances or specifications: such as highways, tank terminals, rail terminals and municipal jobs. Or large volume projects like: mine construction, mine reclamation and soil salvage, highway construction or resource road construction. We have it all! We pull grade with the newest 3D GPS technology or the old school way to with stakes, we have something for the next generation as well as for the traditionalists.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Inspect equipment, such as tracks, fluids, lights, brakes, and cutting edges to ensure equipment is fully functional and safe for operating.
Able to identify hazards on sites and complete JSA’s and hazard analysis.
Knowledge of smooth operation of machine controls
Knowledge of proper loading / dumping procedures
Ability to operate 2-way radio
Able to operate a 40T articulated rock truck in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

Must have at least 3 years of experience operating in a heavy civil environment on a 40 T Rock Truck
Experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the heavy civil earthworks, construction, mining industry is required.
Must have (or be willing and able to obtain) CSTS 09 or CSTS 2020, Standard First Aid Level C, Ground Disturbance Level 2 or equivalent, and H2S Alive.
Required to work outside under all weather conditions and handle noise and vibrations.
Must have own Safety boots -Requirement is 6" lace up steel toed (CSA Approved). Prepared with own Winter Gear
All equipment operators will be expected to assist with labor activities as the job demands. Seat time will vary depending on the job scope.
Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs.
Must be able to work up to 12 hours a day.
Alcohol, Drug and fit to work testing is a pre-employment requirement.
