What Adecco is Hiring for:

Road Service Technician to work directly for its client located in Mississauga ON.   

  • Location: Mississauga ON
  • Salary: $64,995 - $72,765/year based on client assessment
  • Shifts: Straight days, Monday to Friday 40 hours a week, sometimes
  • Overtime may be available
  • Assignment Type: Full Time | Permanent

Job Details:

  • Examine overall operational integrity and condition of the trucks.
  • Find defective or worn out mechanical or electrical parts then communicating and executing next steps for repair solutions to the customer.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnose and order parts according to technical manuals.
  • Document and analyze breakdowns based on standard procedures.
  • As a technician, you are the front-line contact between GNJ and the customer, so you are comfortable with client contact as well as being technical savvy.

Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • High school completion or equivalent education proficiency and/or minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician or equivalent related experience.
  • Automotive Certification (310S) or Heavy-Duty Technician Certification (421A) an asset.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems of battery and engine powered material handling equipment.
  • Knowledge of the use of hand tools and measuring devices, knowledge of the use of electrical/electronic diagnostic tools/measurements.
  • Experience with industrial equipment that involves lifting / rigging, maintaining, dismantling, and installing machinery and industrial mechanical service equipment.
  • Experience aligning above equipment, using dial indicators/calipers, micrometers, hoists or jacks is a plus.
  • Able to interpret and implement technical procedures.
  • Solid knowledge of general Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and work in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
