Refinery Laborers – Entry Level – 14/14 Rotation – Valdez, AK

Petro Star Inc. is hiring Refinery Laborers for an entry-level role in Valdez, AK. This position involves general maintenance, facility upkeep, assisting with equipment operation, and participating in oil spill response drills. The role follows a 14 days on / 14 days off rotation and requires working 12-hour shifts. Training is provided to ensure safety and proficiency in refinery operations. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts for 14 consecutive days
• Alaska driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and climb ladders up to 105 feet
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions

What Will Make You Stand Out:

• Process technology AA degree (preferred)
• Previous experience in engineering, mechanical work, pipe welding, environmental work, instrumentation, refining, or construction
• Current 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (preferred)
