What Cross Canada Millwright (CCM) is Hiring for:

Cross Canada Millwright Ltd. is looking to hire a Red Seal Journeyperson Millwrights for maintenance at Nova Chemicals.

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE THAT ARE WITHIN 100KM OF RED DEER.

Job Type: full time

Pay: $46.00-$55.00 per hour

Qualifications

  • JOURNEYMAN certification as a Millwright.
  • Ability to learn and understand technical procedures and information quickly.
  • Ability to work in high-stress situations and resolve issues.
  • Highly effective organizational, time management, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adhere to plant safety standards.
  • Training Required: CSTS2020,WHIMIS 2015, H2S, Fall Arrest, Confined space entry,

Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain equipment in a timely manner according to manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Conduct routine inspections on equipment.
  • Keep work areas and equipment clean and free of safety hazards.
  • Perform preventive maintenance.
  • Provide details on repairs performed.
  • Other such duties as may be assigned.
