Red Seal/Journeyman Certified welder: Drive In, Drive Out ($46.86 Per Hour)

Red Seal/Journeyman certified welder to work on-site at their processing plants in Wawa, Ontario. 

Pay: $46.86 per hour

• Camp accommodations and home-made meals will be provided while on your rotations.
• You will also be eligible for a Travel tax exemption credit. 
• Shifts are 12 hours/day shifts and $46.86 per hour plus overtime

Job Details:

-Maintenance of milling operation equipment

-Analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot day to day equipment issues

-Performing repairs and preventative maintenance and cost effective planning

-Following maintenance directives from Lead hand

-Assist in commissioning of new equipment and installations

-Perform assemblies and fabricating new designs  

-Safely operate specific equipment including man lifts, forklifts and overhead cranes, etc

-Help with continuous improvement and make recommendations for improvements 

-Safety and environment is top priority and all issues are reported accordingly 

Required Qualifications :

-Journeyman or Red Seal Welder trade certification

-2 plus years experience in an industrial and or mining environment 

-Ability to interpret blueprints is an asset 

-Comfortable working at heights

-Must be physically capable and able to lift up to 50lbs 

-Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision
