What Express Employment Professionals is Hiring for:

General laborers.

Location: Shreveport, LA

Pay: $14.00 Hourly 

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Type: Temp-Hire

Position: Full Time

Vacancies: Several

Work Conditions

  • Will work out of town for a week at a time
  • Must have clean MVR and Background
  • Overtime, travel, per diem, paid hotels

Physical Requirements

  • Tolerate inclement weather conditions
  • Heavy lifter: must be able to move, push, lift 50+ lbs, and maneuver railroad materials
  • Ability to withstand working outdoors in the heat and cold
  • Must be able to reach, bend, kneel, and twist without restrictions  
  • Stand/walk for extended periods of time

Duties

  • Carry and place track materials using hand tools
  • Install railroad spikes
  • Lift, position, handle, remove, and install railroad crossties in and around the track structures

Safety/Security

Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check if offered employment.
