Quality Assurance Supervisor In Valencia Needed ASAP!!!

QUALITY ASSURANCE SUPERVISOR 

Located in Valencia, CA

Salary: $70K - 75K

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct quality assurance inspectors/technicians who are responsible for enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices and other quality-related policies and procedures to meet product safety and quality standards.
• Review Production Batch Records and other manufacturing-related documents to verify compliance and record keeping for all mandated manufacturing processes, quality checks, testing, sampling, and sanitation activities.
• Ensures COAs, testing and other quality tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Looks for root causes of any underlying quality problems and aligns team toward remedying these issues
• Resolves complaints, plays a lead role in investigations, and takes corrective actions (CAPA)
• Coordinates testing of RM, in process materials & FP per requirements
• Assists with external, State, and FDA regulatory inspections/ Regulatory documents 
• Reviews/ approves raw materials for release
• Supports in-house/ internal audits
• Handles/ processes changes requests
• Perform other assignments, duties and special projects as assigned by the QA Manager.    

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree of science preferably in Food Science or related field (Meat Science, Biology, Microbiology, Food Microbiology, etc.).
• A good knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices, preferably 21CFR Part 111, and product safety
