What You’ll Like About This Job

Conifex Timber is hiring temporary casual laborers for a scheduled shutdown at their power plant in Mackenzie, BC. This short-term role involves spark watch, holewatch, confined space monitoring, and general site cleanup. The job includes 12-hour shifts and full safety training. Ideal for those with good physical fitness, safety awareness, and interest in fast-paced industrial work.

What you’ll need:

  • Must be 18 or older
  • Physically fit and able to work in all weather
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols
  • Able to work 12-hour day/night shifts
  • Must complete confined space documentation

What will make you stand out:

  • OFA-Level 3 First Aid Certification
  • Previous experience on shutdowns or confined space watch jobs
