What You’ll Like About This Job

Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. (PNG) is hiring Welders in Burns Lake, BC to work on natural gas pipelines and distribution systems. This role involves welding station piping, fabricating meter sets, and conducting maintenance operations on gas transmission systems.

This is a union position (IBEW) with a wage rate of $50.78/hr, offering a great opportunity for skilled welders in the energy and pipeline industry.

What You’ll Need:

  • Grade 12 or Equivalent Education
  • Basic Pipefitter Skills
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Ability to Weld Pipelines & Fabricate Meter Sets
  • Physical Fitness & Good Eyesight
  • Experience Working in Adverse Weather Conditions

What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • Experience with Hydrostatic Pressure Testing
  • Strong Knowledge of Safety Procedures & Regulations
  • Ability to Read & Interpret Construction Drawings & Technical Reports
