What Vise Energy Services is Hiring for:

Looking for an experienced Pipeline Lead Hand with a VALID HDPE FUSION CERTIFICATE

*MUST BE LOCATED WITHIN 60 MIN OF BLACKFALDS SHOP LOCATION TO APPLY*

-Work areas include central Alberta at this time.

-Work shifts will vary by projects

-Subsistence provided for all ‘on the road’ work

-Travel provided daily for all work away from the shop

-Lead Hand employee rate will be determined based on experience $34 to $42 hour

-Lead Hand contractor rates/truck rates to be discussed at the time of review

-Should have previous experience in a pipeline and/or oilfield construction work

-Field duties will include:

  • Participate in ditching, stringing, welding activities and pipeline cleanup
  • Operation of HDPE equipment as required
  • Assist pipeline foreman with work instructions with crew(s)
  • Take part in pre-trip safety inspections, equipment maintenance checks and daily field level hazard assessments
  • Participate in excavation conducted around existing lease pipelines and utilities
  • Assist with installation of piles with hoe pak equipment
  • Follow safe work procedures
  • Ensure quality of the job meets client requirements

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience with pipeline construction
  • Previous experience with HDPE
  • Experience around heavy equipment
  • Able communicate both written and verbal
  • Ground Disturbance Level 1 Training
  • H2S, First Aid and Whimis 2015 Training
  • Ability to manage changing priorities
  • Valid drivers license
  • Reliable transportation
