What Miller Pipeline is Hiring for:

We are searching for qualified candidates to assist in of installation of gas mains, sewer lines, water lines and telephone cable.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Digging, filling, back-filling, grading or other excavation work including trenches, pits or tunnels
  • Non-technical support of installation of gas mains, sewer lines, water lines and telephone cable
  • Installation and maintenance of underground cable and conduit as well as overhead cable
  • Repair, remove or replace damaged landscaping
  • Properly lift tools, objects and equipment of varying weight.
  • Score and break asphalt or concrete with a jackhammer.
  • Operate vehicles used for hauling.
  • Assist in the demolition, take-up and reconditioning of old pipe.
  • Travel frequently within the area for work assignments.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current driver’s license with good driving record
  • Current DOT physical or ability to obtain one
  • Professional or personal use of hand tools
  • Interact effectively and professionally with the public, customers, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Must pass computer-based testing, specific to the local Customer’s operator qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • 1+ year experience in construction, farming, manual labor and/or outdoor work

Pay Rate: $26.62 an hour
