Are you an experienced Journeyman Pipefitter or Pipefitter Apprentice looking for a long-term, stable employment opportunity? We want you to join our team!

We are currently recruiting Pipefitter Journeypersons and Apprentices for long-term Maintenance and Turnaround project assignments in the Fort McMurray area.

$50.60/hr* Journeyperson Employee Rate
*Includes 10% Vacation and Stat Holiday
Weekly Pay (Direct Deposit every Friday)
$69.00/hr overtime rate (over 8 hours per day – 40 hours per week)
14 days on 7 days off shift (Excellent work life balance)
12 Hour work days
Flights provided out of Edmonton and Calgary

Summary of essential responsibilities

Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes
Measure, cut, thread, bend, assemble and install metal tubing, pipes, pipe sections, valves, and fittings
Hydro test and install fabricated pipe spools within structural steel modular assemblies, adding designed supports as required
Maintain all tools, work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion
Read and interpret client and company-supplied construction fabrication drawings and specifications

Minimum Requirements

Steamfitter-Pipefitter trade certificate
Apprentices must be active in apprenticeship program
Must be able to pass pre-employment alcohol, drug test (including marijuana)
Must be fit-for-duty and in good physical condition
Good communication skills in English
Must be immediately eligible/able to work in Canada
