Oilfield Laborer – Motor Hand

Location: Alberta

Pay: $23.25 – $48.62 per hour

Position: Full time

Responsibilities 

• Cleaning and removing debris from the rig floor
• Helping in setting up, taking down, and transporting essential drilling equipment
• Driving truck or other vehicles for the transportation of equipment 
• Repairing, moving, adjusting, and recalibrating machinery
• Conducting preventative maintenance on equipment
• Assisting in mixing mud and chemicals 
• Taking directions from the driller or other crew leaders
• Performing the duties on the drilling rig as an all-around worker
• Ensuring safety checks
• Managing and manipulating sections of pipe during drilling

Work Conditions

• Willingness to work away from home for significant amount of time

Skills & Aptitudes

• High mchanical aptitude
• Attentive to deetail

Physical Requirements

• Great physical strength and stamina to transport heavy equipment.

Certificates & Licences

• A valid Class 5Q driver’s license is required
