Oilfield Cement Supervisors/Operators up to $8,000/m

Shared to Indeed as 'urgently hiring', Elite Pumping Services is a newer Remedial cementing company going into our 3rd season. We are beginning to establish a great customer base, and keep our equipment very busy with jobs daily. Our main camp is in Red Cliff, AB, with smaller satellite camps on Red Deer and Grand Prairie.

A large portion of our work is currently in the central and southern areas of Alberta and our crews mainly stay within their area of work, with occasional trips to other camps for coverage.

Job Description:

-Existing knowledge of cement equipment is required

Experience in the oil a gas industry is a must for our supervisors as well

-Supervisors need cementing experience and knowledge of down hole operations, such as perforations, bridge plugs and packers

-Supervisors oversee all parameters of the job and keep in constant communication with the onsite well supervisor.

-Load or oversee the loading of all required chemicals and equipment required for every job

-Supervisors are responsible for writing tickets, and completing all required paperwork for the job on site, as well as sending the info in after the job is complete. Good communication between dispatch and the supervisor is must for continuing to provide the best job possible to our clients.

-Our supervisors and operators work closely together and perform all required maintenance on their unit to ensure it is ready for the next job. This includes oil changes, pre trips, updating maintenance sheets and reporting any defects or issues to the manager or mechanic for repairs.

-Transport Equipment to and from well locations

-Safely Rig in and Rig out cement jobs, working with service rigs, coil units and and at times rigging into just the well head.

-Perform job at a professional level and provide the quality of work our customers have come to expect.

Skills:

-Remedial Cementing Experience

-Ability to work out calculations and understand what is required for cement specific jobs for wells.

-Good communication skills with customers and ability to lead safety meetings with confidence.

-Basic mechanical skills

-Heavy Hauling and off road driving experience is an asset.

-Strong work ethic, positive attitude and is both reliable and dependable

Safety is always number one, must be safety driven.

Requirements:

-Valid Class 1 License with a drivers abstract

-Standard First aid and H2s certificates
