This Offshore Pipe Welder position in Cook Inlet, Alaska is ideal for highly skilled welders with oil & gas experience. Udelhoven Oilfield System Services is seeking welders experienced in repairing, installing, and fabricating piping systems using GTAW, SMAW, and FCAW welding techniques. The role requires passing a 6G pipe test, experience in industrial construction, and compliance with OSHA and H2S safety standards. Candidates must be able to work in a physically demanding offshore environment and pass a pre-employment drug test and fit-for-duty exam if assigned to Alaska North Slope locations.

What You’ll Need:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Offshore oil & gas experience (required)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass ASME B31.3 - GTAW / SMAW 6G pipe test
  • Ability to pass 2” XXH, 6010/7018, SMAW & 6” SCH, 160 GTAW/FCAW, 6G pipe tests
  • OSHA 10 Certification (or ability to obtain)
  • H2S Certification (or ability to obtain)
  • NSTC Certification (for Alaska locations only)
  • Pass pre-employment drug test
  • Fit-for-Duty exam (for Alaska North Slope locations)
