What you'll need:

• Valid U.S. driver’s license and TWIC
• Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) with: Master or Mate Pilot of Towing Vessels (Wheelman) Tankerman PIC (Barge) DL endorsement (Tankerman)
• Radar and FFC endorsements
• 2+ years of wheelhouse experience or 3+ years on inland towing vessels
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and work under heavy physical demands
• Willingness to fly commercially for crew change
• Ability to work rotating shifts (14/7, 14/14, 20/10, 28/14)

What will make you stand out:

• Experience navigating 30K BBL tank barges on the GIWW and Mississippi River
• Zero spills or violations in the past 12 months
• Tankerman experience with LPG or chemical cargo
• Strong computer literacy (MS Word, Excel)
• Ability to supervise, train, and maintain vessel logs and inspections
• Strong decision-making and situational judgment under pressure
