Offshore services of Acadiana, LLC (aka OSA) is looking for experienced head chefs/stewards with 1 year of offshore cooking experience. Must have experience as a steward: placing grocery orders, creating menus, planning menus a week at a time (considering grocery orders), have the ability to prepare 3 meals for 15 POB daily. Lots of overtime for those with a good attitude; "not my job" is not our culture; must be a team players.
Requirements:- Must have experience- 1 year of offshore steward experience
- Must have a rig pass certification (aka safe gulf / safely and certification).
- Must have a current water survival certification (aka HUET certification).
- Must be able to pass Drug Screenings and Physicals.
- Have a current Sate ID
- Must have either a SS Card or Birth Certificate.
- Must be able to carry on physical routines related to moving about an oil rig/boat, unloading crates of groceries, cooking, etc..

Responsibilities:As an offshore head chef (aka day cook), you will play a lead role in helping OSA fulfill our mission to our customers. An example of some of your daily tasks are:
- Creating menus; cooking various cuisines (like Italian, Cajun, Mexican, etc); Baking.
- Food Preparation; Safety, Sanitation, and Compliance;
- Inventory management;
- Laundry duty / Cleaning floors (when POB is low);
- Working alone, under another cook, or as the leader of UTs, Galley Hands and other Cooks;
- Build rapport with OSA clients.
