Heavy Equipment Mechanics

Location: Kittery, ME!! 

Project Duration: 7 years

Pay: $29.36 /hour.

Per Diem: $135/day

Working Condition

- Will all be first shift, may add a night shift later on down the road. 

- Will be getting 50-60+ hours per week depending on weather. 

- Must be ok with working in all weather conditions.  

Duties

- Will be working on a Naval Shipyard to finish constructing a dry dock for the Navy. 

- Will be asked to run a few different pieces of equipment proficiently.  

- Must be able to run wheel loaders, excavators, telehandlers, and small equipment such as skids and mini excavators. Should have some exp with marine/dock work.  

- Must be able to perform some general maintenance on equipment as well as trouble shoot and be able to make repairs as needed.  

- Crews will be spreading gravel/rock, trenching for sewer pipes, water piping, stalling culverts. 

Pre-employment

- Ability to pass a military background check

 Ability to pass pre-employment screenings

Experience

- Must have 5+ years of experience in industrial, marine, and civil work

- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints

- Should be able to operate, repair, troubleshoot, and fix mechanical and electrical issues on heavy equipment

Tools & Equipment

- Must have all appropriate hand tools-

 Any Certifications a huge plus!-
