Millwrights Wanted in Vancouver, BC (4x10 Hour/Day shift) Pays up to $50 per Hour with OT

Our client in industrial manufacturing is looking for a Red Seal Millwright to join their team in Vancouver, BC.  The location is easily accessible from major roads and shift times will make it easier to avoid peak traffic.

You’ll be responsible for maintenance, repair, install, assembly and troubleshooting for various plant equipment and machines. You will be working with a smaller crew and assist in training apprentices while on your shift.  You will lead by example and complete all assigned tasks, including paperwork and clean up daily. 

Schedule is 4 x 10 hour day shift rotations that will give you 2 x 4 day weekends per month (day shifts only)

$48-$50 per hour  with plenty of OT if you desire. Excellent benefits and strong retirement plan contribution.

Required Qualifications :

-Red Seal or Journeyman Millwright ticket
-Welding experience
-Experience training working with and training apprentices
-Experience in heavy industrial/manufacturing environment
-Ability to read and interpret work drawings, schematics and specifications
-Operate a forklift and other hoist equipment
-Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
-Adaptable to environmental changes, including confined space, heights, temperature and other elements
-Legally entitled to work in Canada
