Axis is hiring experienced Mechanics in Odessa, TX to repair and maintain complex oilfield equipment including workover rigs, diesel engines, and hydraulic systems. This full-time role involves shop and field work and requires deep technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot systems under pressure. It’s ideal for seasoned professionals with strong oilfield backgrounds and experience with electronic diagnostic tools.

What you’ll need:

High school diploma or GED (trade certification preferred)

5+ years of oilfield or diesel repair experience

Valid driver’s license (Class A or B preferred)

Extensive hydraulic systems knowledge (open and closed loop)

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined, elevated, and extreme environments

Familiarity with diagnostic tools like CAT ET, Cummins INSIGHT, Allison, DDEC, etc.
What will make you stand out:

Experience with engines like CAT C-15/C-32, Detroit 14L, MTU 16v2000
