What Cameco Corporation is Hiring for:

Reporting to the Manager, Materials Management, you will oversee the material availability for scheduled work and develop a material requirements schedule which determines what to order, how much to order and when to order materials to support planning activities. You will also derive an accurate view of material requirements needed to support consumer needs by balancing orders, demand, and material inventory data. In addition, you will also be responsible for analysing material inventory levels considering supply lead time, vendor constraints and transportation constraints.

You will need to be a hands-on worker who will drive the creation of a material requirements and inventory schedule that needs to be aligned with the overall site work plan.

Requirements of the position:

  • Bachelor of Commerce degree
  • Minimum of three to five years of related experience in an industrial setting
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
  • APICS, SCMP designation is preferred
  • Experience with a computer maintenance management system such as SAP
  • Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft

Assets:

  • Knowledge in inventory planning processes 

Preference will be given to residents of Saskatchewan's North.
