What Cameco Corporation is Hiring for:

In this leadership role you will be responsible to oversee a number of functions to ensure effective operation and achievement of expected outcomes for the business technology services (BTS) department. This includes IT portfolio, project, change, problem and risk management. You will work to develop and improve the current BTS control environment including assessing, identifying, monitoring and coordinating the remediation of compliances issues, to ensure BTS is in compliance with identified IT internal controls. You will also assist the BTS management team to establish and maintain the overall IT governance framework.

You will lead a small team of professionals by successfully managing team resources, budgets and performance. 

 

Requirements of the position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Twelve years of experience between IT Audit and an enterprise IT environment
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
  • Familiarity with core business practices outside of IT
  • Executive relationship management experience with internal and external stakeholders

 

Assets:

  • Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
  • Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT)
  • ITIL or PMI certifications
