What Cameco Corporation is Hiring for:

Reporting to ­­­­­­­­­­­­­the maintenance supervisor, you will be responsible for performing routine daily functions such as:

  • Washing vehicles and trailers as well as maintain and cleanout the sump as required
  • Overall tool crib management, ensuring tools are in safe and good condition for use
  • Maintain housekeeping in area as area owner
  • Monitoring inventory by ensuring tools are being signed in and out appropriately
  • Basic calibration and inspection of slings, come-alongs, and torque wrenches
  • Assist as required with basic mechanical tasks and assisting trades people

Requirements of the position:

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • At least one to three years of related work experience in an industrial environment
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • Perform manual labour such as washing vehicles, general housekeeping of the work area and tool crib
  • Experience with power and hand tools
  • Intermediate computer skills and computer software knowledge (Microsoft office suite)
  • Efficient time management and organizational skills
  • Superior safety record and safety principals
  • Must work a rotational work schedule and commute to site by aircraft

Assets:

  • Experience with SAP
  • Some post-secondary education toward any trade program (welder, carpenter, pipefitter, etc.)

Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan’s North.
